5. Vijayadashami – Farewell to Goddess Durga and immersion (Visarjan) of idols in water, symbolizing her return to Mount Kailash.

• Zoom Application: Download and install the Zoom app on your device for better audio and video quality.
• Sacred Space Setup: Choose a quiet, clean space at home where you can participate in the ritual with devotion.
• Required Puja Items (if any): Depending on the puja, we will provide a list of basic items like flowers, incense, and diya.
• Dress Code (Optional but Recommended): Wearing traditional attire (like dhoti/saree) enhances the spiritual experience.
• Positive Intentions & Devotion: Join with faith, focus, and an open heart to receive divine grace.
• Punctuality: Log in 5 minutes before the scheduled time to avoid any disturbance.

Durga Puja Items

1. Idol & Setup Items

✔ Goddess Durga Idol or Picture – Placed on a clean altar or platform.

✔ Puja Mandap (Altar/Table) – Covered with a clean red/yellow cloth.

✔ Mango Leaves & Banana Leaves – For decoration and rituals.

✔ Flowers & Garlands – Red hibiscus, lotus, marigold, and other fresh flowers.

2. Puja Samagri (Worship Materials)

✔ Turmeric & Kumkum (Vermillion) – For applying on the idol and devotees.

✔ Sandalwood Paste (Chandan) – For offering to the deity.

✔ Akshata (Unbroken Rice mixed with turmeric) – Offered during the puja.

✔ Betel Leaves & Betel Nuts – As part of the offering.

✔ Fruits (Bananas, Apples, Pomegranates, etc.) – For naivedyam.

✔ Coconut – Broken and offered to the Goddess.

✔ Incense Sticks (Agarbatti) & Camphor – For fragrance and aarti.

✔ Deepam (Oil Lamps) – For lighting during the puja.

✔ Sacred Thread (Mouli) – Tied on the wrist.
 

3. Prasadam (Naivedyam) Offerings

✔ Kheer, Halwa, Tamarind Rice (Pulihora) or Payasam – As special offerings.

✔ Chana (Black Gram) & Jaggery – Traditionally offered to Goddess Durga.

✔ Panchamritam – Mixture of milk, curd, honey, ghee, and sugar for Abhishekam.

✔ Rice, Dal, and Ghee – As part of naivedyam.
 

4. Other Essential Items

✔ Puja Bell – Used during Aarti.

✔ Aarti Thali (Plate) – For waving camphor.

✔ Sacred Books – Durga Saptashati, Devi Mahatmyam, or Lalitha Sahasranamam for chanting.

✔ Kalash (Sacred Pot) with Coconut & Mango Leaves – For invoking divine energy.
